Our Family

Mike and Erin - We're the conductors of this crazy train! We met in 2004 as summer staffers at a Bible camp that is near & dear to both of us. We got married in 2007, had Elliot in 2008, Hadley in 2009, Adelyn & Kailyn in 2011 and started the adoption process in 2012. Mike is an engineer and, according to Erin, a mathematical genius. He also enjoys music and playing his guitar. Erin, as you might imagine, is busy keeping up with the kids and the house but she also enjoys crafty things and scrapbooking and getting out of the house with her friends! Raising kids is what we know and we think we make a good team. We may not always get it right but we have fun trying!

E - our first born. He's had a mind and an agenda all his own since before he was born. He welcomed us to the parenting world - his birthday (& the weeks preceding) were some of the scariest moments of our lives but also some of biggest moments of growth for ourselves and our relationship. There was a time we weren't sure if we would get to bring our baby home at all. Now, he keeps us constantly on our toes. He loves trains, cars, crashes and picking on his sisters. He is one of the coolest kids on the planet.

H - Erin's mini-me. This little girl can talk your ear off and have you rolling on the floor in laughter. She's the biggest sweetheart and gives some of the best hugs and kisses. Cuddling is one of her favorite things to do and she loves Legos, princesses, ponies and her little kitty! She is our little princess.

A & K - two of the funniest little monkeys I've ever seen. Also two of the most stubborn little drama queens but those eyes and their smiles will melt you every.single.time. A is the ultimate cuddler. K is the ultimate climber. Although that could be the other way around on any given day. They were one of our biggest surpries and have made our home a little (ok, a lot) more chaotic but life would not be the same without this two little beauties in it!
